This is the entry-level course and the first rung on the IRATA rope access career ladder. All rope access equipment will be provided along with a comprehensive training manual.

Building on the skills and experience learned at level 1 the IRATA level 2 course goes further into rescue and complex rigging techniques. All rope access equipment will be provided along with a comprehensive training manual.

PREREQUISTES:
The minimum age requirement is 19. Previous rope access experience must be at least 1000 logged hours and 12 months as an IRATA Level 1 technician. Appropriate physical and mental aptitude for technical tasks while working at height is important. Candidates will have to lift their own body weight multiple times during the week. Candidates will be required to sign a Statement of Medical Condition confirming the absence of known medical conditions that might preclude their ability to safely work at height.
